About Us
Harbor Christian Homeschool Co-op works with parents to offer a variety of academic and enrichment classes for preschool through high school. We do not follow a set curriculum, and offer flexibility in that a full day is not required: you may register for 1, 2, 3, or 4 periods. We are not a drop-off program, and require both parent presence and partcipation. A parent or guardian is required to be on campus while the children are attending co-op, and are also required to complete assigned job duties. Our classes are not a substitute for parent involvement: you are still responsible for the education of your child, and participating in a co-op is one way to work together with others to facilitate that education.
Our co-op day runs from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm on Mondays. There is a break for lunch from 11:55am -12:25.
The last period of the day is reserved for structured group activities and social time for both students and parents. One-time workshops for parents or kids will occasionally be scheduled during this hour.
Classes are priced individually by the teachers, and vary based on curriculum and materials used. There is an initial materials fee per class, with monthly tuition per class typically being $5-$10 per month.
